I have been volunteering for Sacred Heart Southern Missions for over 40 years. I've been at the food pantry ten years now. I just enjoy helping people and the people that I help, I see their stories, they tell me the needs they have, and it just gives me some sense of satisfaction that I'm able to help other people and I just enjoy helping people, I really do.

Somebody ran over my foot with a fork lift at work. I've been on disability which has been up and down. I got turned down for food stamps, I don't know why.
Sacred Heart, they have been a great help to me and my daughter. Without them, we wouldn't have enough food to eat. It's one of the reasons I love Walls, is because of Sacred Heart.
